Right for you if
This is the program when
- Puppies and young dogs starting from scratch
- Dogs with no existing behavioral problems
- First time owners who want to start correctly
- Pulling, jumping, and no leash manners yet
- Owners who would rather prevent than fix
What we cover
By the time your dog comes home
- Heel, meaning walking on a loose leash without pulling
- Sit, down, stay, and place
- Structured socialization with people
- Carefully managed socialization with other dogs
- Confidence and manners in places your dog has never been
- Leash manners and core commands that hold at home
Every dog is different, so this is the shape of the work rather than a fixed checklist. What your dog specifically needs gets set at the evaluation.
How it runs
Start to finish
-
01
A phone call, free
You tell me what is going on. I tell you what is driving it and whether I am the right person for it. Nothing gets booked on this call.
-
02
An in person evaluation
I meet your dog. You get my read, the plan, and the number, before you commit to anything.
-
03
Your dog lives and trains with me
One trainer, hands on, every day. Photos and videos of the real work while it happens.
-
04
Three to five sessions training you
Not optional. A trained dog handed to an untrained owner unravels in a month. We go longer if you need longer.
-
05
I stay on the hook
Advanced Obedience and behavior programs carry a lifetime training guarantee. Basic Obedience includes a month of additional sessions if you need them. Either way, call me.
On length
Programs here are not sold as a fixed block of days. If your dog needs longer to reach the standard, it stays longer and you are not charged for the extra time. One client had a dog held three extra weeks at no cost because he was not ready at the six week mark.
Around the fifth week, Aaron let us know that Enzo wasn’t ready to return at the end of the six-week program because he was still extremely stubborn and needed more time.
