Three to five sessions training you
Not optional. A trained dog handed to an untrained owner unravels in a month. We go longer if you need longer.

Advanced Obedience and behavior programs carry a lifetime training guarantee. Basic Obedience includes a month of additional sessions if you need them. Either way, call me.

The guarantee

Advanced Obedience and behavior programs carry a lifetime training guarantee. Within what we covered, follow up private sessions are included whenever you need them, for the life of the dog.
Basic Obedience works differently. It includes a month of additional sessions after your dog goes home, which is the window where puppy training actually slips.
If something we trained starts slipping in eight months, you call me and we fix it. Two clients describe this on Google unprompted.
The great thing about in line K9 is their life time warranty. Even after your session is over they continue to work with you throughout your pets life.
The part people skip
Transfer sessions. Not optional.
A trained dog handed back to an untrained owner comes apart in about a month. Most programs still treat owner coaching as an add on.
Here it is built in: two to three sessions on Basic Obedience, three to five on Advanced and behavior programs, and more if you need more. You are the one who has to run this for the next decade.
He also takes the time to teach the owner which is HUGE.

Afterwards
Boarding and daycare, graduates only.
Once your dog has completed Basic or Advanced Board and Train, you can book boarding and daycare with me directly.
It is a separate service, booked and paid for on its own, and it is not part of the program fee. What it is not is open to the public. I do not take boarding from dogs I have not trained, because the whole point is that your dog already knows the routine and I already know your dog.

How much does it cost?
I quote you directly, before you commit. It depends on what your dog needs, and I am not going to guess that from a web page.
How long does a Board and Train take?
Basic Obedience runs three to four weeks. Advanced and behavior programs are usually four to six weeks, and some need longer. If your dog needs more time to reach my standard, you are not charged for the extra time.
What tools do you use?
Balanced, which means tools are chosen for the individual dog rather than ruled in or out by category. Anything I use has to be humane and appropriate for that dog. You hear the full method before training starts, so you can decide before any money changes hands.
Is there any dog you will not take?
I will work with nearly any dog, as long as the owner is committed to the program and to the lifestyle changes that go with it. Before accepting a case I check for medical or neurological issues that would make the work unsafe. In some cases I will require a dog to be neutered.
What happens when my dog comes home?
Transfer sessions with you before your dog goes home: two to three for Basic Obedience, three to five for Advanced and behavior programs, extended if you need them. After that, Advanced and behavior programs carry a lifetime training guarantee, and Basic Obedience includes a month of additional sessions.
Can I reach you after hours?
Yes. Call whenever you need help. If I cannot answer, text me and I will get back to you.
Will my dog still be my dog?
Yes. The goal is a dog who can relax, not a dog who is switched off. Owners describe the same personality with the volume down and the confidence up.
Do you do protection or bite work?
No. If that is what you want, I will point you somewhere else.
Are you insured?
Fully insured. Happy to provide documentation on request.
Where are you based?
San Diego, working across the county. Your dog lives and trains with me for the duration of the program.
Can my dog board with you after the program?
Yes, and this is only open to graduates. Once your dog has completed Basic or Advanced Board and Train you can book boarding and daycare with me directly. It is a separate service, booked and paid for on its own, not something included in the program fee. Dogs who have not been through a program with me cannot book it at all.
Do you offer private sessions?
Yes. Private sessions work on their own, if you would rather keep your dog at home and do the work yourself with me coaching, and they can also be added alongside any board and train program.
