Agreement to our legal terms
We are In Line K9, a dog training business operating in San Diego, California. We operate the website https://inlinek9sd.com, along with any related products and services that refer to these legal terms.
These legal terms are a legally binding agreement between you and In Line K9 concerning your use of this website. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using it.
These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the agreement for training services. If you decide to work with us, the training itself is governed by a separate written service agreement signed by both of us, which covers program details, fees, cancellation, and the care of your dog. Nothing on this website is that agreement, and nothing on this website is an offer to contract.

2. Intellectual property rights
We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property in this website, including its source code, design, text, photographs, video, and graphics, and the In Line K9 name and logo.
You are granted a non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to access the site and to download or print portions of it for your own personal, non commercial use. Nothing else about the site may be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, or exploited commercially without our prior written permission.
Customer reviews quoted on this website are the words of the people who wrote them and are reproduced as published.
3. User representations
By using this website, you represent and warrant that:

- Any information you give us about your dog is accurate and complete, including any history of biting, aggression, injury, or illness.
That last point matters more than the rest. We make decisions about safety, suitability, and the handling of your dog based on what you tell us. Withholding a bite history or a medical condition puts our staff, other animals, the public, and your own dog at risk.

You represent that you own or control the rights to what you submit, that it is accurate, and that it does not violate anyone else's rights. We may edit, refuse, or remove any contribution at our discretion. You may ask us to stop using a contribution you made by contacting us.
6. Third party websites and content
The site may contain links to other websites, and may display content from third party services, including our forms, assessment, and booking calendar. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third parties. Links are not an endorsement. If you access it from elsewhere, you are transferring your data to the United States and you consent to it being processed there.
9. Term and termination
These terms remain in effect while you use the site. We may, at our sole discretion and without notice or liability, deny access to the site to anyone for any reason, including for breach of these terms.
10. Modifications and interruptions
We may change, modify, or remove the contents of the site at any time without notice, and we are under no obligation to update any information on it. We cannot guarantee the site will be available at all times. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Corrections
There may be information on the site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including descriptions of our programs. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update the information at any time, without prior notice.
14. Disclaimer
The site is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the site and your use of it, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.
No guarantee of training results. Dog training outcomes depend on the individual animal, its history and genetics, its health, the environment it lives in, and above all on the continued involvement of the owner after a program ends. Any description of typical timelines, outcomes, or programs on this website is a general description and not a promise, guarantee, or warranty of any particular result for your dog.
Animal behavior is inherently unpredictable. No trainer, method, or program can guarantee that any animal will never display undesirable or dangerous behavior, including biting. Owners remain responsible for the safe management and containment of their dog at all times, and remain responsible for compliance with all leash laws, licensing requirements, and local ordinances.
Nothing on this site is veterinary or medical advice. Behavioral problems can have medical causes. Consult a licensed veterinarian about your dog's health, and about any sudden change in behavior.
Information on this website, including our assessment tool and any program recommendation it produces, is general information based on the answers you provide. It is not an evaluation of your dog, it is not a professional opinion about your specific animal, and it should not be relied on as one. A real assessment happens in person.
15. Limitations of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. If those laws apply to you, some or all of the above may not apply, and you may have additional rights.
Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in this section affects the terms of any separate written service agreement between us.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any loss, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of a third party.
17. User data
We maintain certain data that you transmit to the site for the purpose of managing its performance, as well as data relating to your use of it. Although we perform routine backups, you are solely responsible for all data that you transmit. We have no liability to you for any loss or corruption of such data, and you waive any right of action against us arising from it.
